The only reason it pisses you off, as you so eloquently put it, is because you made the mistake of caring for her only to let your terribly awkward social skills - by which I mean the ones you are entirely lacking in - drove her away. Whatever guilt you may feel is no reason to allow Luna to get hurt as well.
