[An hour after this is posted, Ted shows up at The Looking Glass.]

Ritsu?

[Ritsu looks barely put together. One of the nice things about having such a large office at the club is that he has a good portion of his things there (including the couch that he and Sai were napping on earlier), but that didn't make him any more willing to get prettied up like he normally does before the club opens for the night.

He's at the bar on the real world side of the club in flared jeans and a loose teeshirt, hair pulled back in a ponytail, poking at half full glass of some kind of alcohol.]

Hey, Ted-kun...

[Alright, first things first: You need a hug. So we will be giving you one. And after a minute or two of this...]

...I'm sorry I couldn't be here sooner.

It's fine. Don't worry about it.

Thank you. [Ted sighs, taking out his D-Comm and starting to fiddle around with it.] I'm afraid that there is nothing that I can say to make this better. I've tried to come up with something, and in that, I failed. All I can offer you is a shoulder to cry on...

[Suddenly: ICE CREAM. Straight from the D-Comm, so it's still nice and cold.]

Ted, meanwhile, actually has a small tub of his own, and a spoon to go with it.] I hope you don't mind, this is actually my lunch break.

It's wonderful. I'm still learning, and it does get difficult at times, but I'll do whatever I can to help. [Brb, nomming on aisu.] And what about you?

[a shrug, and a little more poking at the treat]

Can't complain, I suppose. Business is good.

That's good to hear. [Takes another bite.] And how is Tei doing?

Aside from continuing to glare at Hastune-san... she's doing well. She's settling in to her job surprisingly well. She's even been helping Haku with some installations and rewirings at the Hyperion.

[smirks a little]

Who knew she had such a skill for electrician work.

Indeed. [Smirks right back at him.] It's a bit ironic. And a bit of poetic justice, if I do say so myself.

How do you mean? [curious head tilt]

It's quite simple. [Takes another bite of ice cream.] The girl that once had fatal coding errors now does someone else's wires. And she probably does it better than our foolish creators. [Bias, what is bias?]

[huffs at the hair ruffling, but doesn't say anything about it, simply turning to go back to his office.]
